Field Service Technician – Kalgoorlie
A field service technician will perform routine field services and repairs on Xylem products, with a focus on Godwin diesel pump sets. Holding a mechanical trade qualification (trade qualification as a diesel mechanic), you like to troubleshoot, are solutions-focused, can operate in a safety-first manner, and provide exceptional customer support.
Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled and emergency repairs on Xylem equipment at customer sites and in the workshop.
* Install, test, and maintain pumps and systems to meet operational standards before dispatch.
* Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams, offering expert advice and service feedback.
* Disassemble, clean, assess, and rebuild systems to restore full functionality.
* MR and forklift license (highly desirable)
* Prepare and maintain accurate service reports and documentation in a timely manner.
* Ability to travel throughout the Goldfields region – Field Service Technician.
Skills and Experience
* Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic
* Prior Experience working in a Workshop environment.
* Good attention to detail, excellent problem solving and time management.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully communicate with customers.
