About The Role
As the Regional Fleet & Transport Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient transport of students across all OneSchool Global campuses nationally. This role provides both strategic direction and hands‐on oversight of fleet and transport operations, driving nationally consistent standards, systems, and governance frameworks. You will lead end‐to‐end fleet operations while uplifting safety, compliance, and performance across the organisation.
You'll work closely with state and national stakeholders, providing practical guidance and solutions across fleet lifecycle management, transport safety, compliance, systems, and supplier management, while fostering a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This role is based in our Sydney office and reports to the Regional Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and lead a national fleet and transport strategy aligned with operational, safety, and compliance objectives
* Establish and embed a standardised national fleet operating model across campuses
* Oversee the full fleet lifecycle, including procurement, maintenance, asset management, and disposal
* Ensure compliance with HVNL, Chain of Responsibility, and WHS requirements across all operations
* Lead national fleet safety programs, including driver compliance, inspections, and incident management
* Own and govern fleet systems, telematics, and transport platforms to ensure accurate and consistent data
* Deliver national reporting on performance, safety, compliance, and risk to inform decision‐making
* Provide oversight of driver and volunteer onboarding, training, and compliance
* Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, value, and continuous improvement
* Manage the national fleet budget, driving cost efficiency and sustainable fleet initiatives

To be successful in this role, you will bring
* Proven experience in fleet management, transport operations, or similar environments
* Strong knowledge of HVNL, Chain of Responsibility, and WHS frameworks
* Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and hands‐on
* Experience managing fleet lifecycle, safety, compliance, and cost optimisation
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across diverse teams
* Experience with fleet systems, telematics, and data‐driven decision‐making
* A proactive, solutions‐focused mindset with strong governance disciplineExperience managing multi‐site or multi‐state operations (desirable)
