We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled HR professional to support our Metropolitan South Region schools by delivering operational and project-based HR services, with a strong focus on recruitment. This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

* Provide operational advice on recruitment for non-teaching, teaching and classified roles
* Act as an escalation point for recruitment issues across the region; investigating delays or issues and resolving roadblocks
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including central office recruitment teams and school leaders
* Review and interpret recruitment documentation to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures
* Demonstrate a proactive and solutions-focused approach, working autonomously where needed
* Clearly communicate processes and expectations to a wide range of audiences
* Contribute to ad hoc HR reporting
Required Skills And Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* A strong understanding of recruitment and selection processes and directives
* High-level attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple tasks simultaneously
* Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative HR team
* Experience using HR systems such as Springboard, ServiceNow, MyHR and TSS
* Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
