**About the Role**
As part of the Professional Services practice, the role ensures the PMO team delivers external projects with a high level of quality, whilst being accountable for the project outcomes to clients and other stakeholders. In addition, the critical focus is to deliver outstanding customer service to external customers by providing dedicated, focused and specialist Project Management services in order to meet agreed objectives and delivery timelines. The role will operate in the capacity of 50% Senior Project Manager alongside TL responsibilities. It reports to Head - Technical Services & may be based out of multiple locations within the country.
**Main Duties**
- Immediate "go to person" for all general day to day Project Management queries and questions, escalating issues to the Head of technical Services where required.
- Ensure projects are transitioned to internal support teams in a timely manner for ongoing management and support.
- Provide effective stakeholder management & Manage scope and project variations
- Directly ensure technical staff and all resource management requirements are aligned appropriately to customer projects
- Ensure the Project Management team are responsible and accountable to deliver quality project implementation work meeting the expectations and requirements for external customers.
- Effectively manage the Project Management Team to deliver contracted services in accordance with contracted Service Level Agreements and external customer expectations.
- Be responsible for the forecasting costs, billable revenue, project delivery schedules, resources and technical performance of projects
- Support the continuous professional development of the team as well as managing, leading, guiding and coaching the day to day activities of the individuals within the team.
- Validate implementation and project deliverables and ensure final outcomes are aligned to agreed Scope and Design
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Technical Services and Senior Management regarding future direction planning and departmental compliance to key business objectives.
**Key Requirements**
We are looking for a leader who has the ability to manage multiple projects with competing demands simultaneously. Having experience in managing project managers or medium sized teams will enable success in the role. Having an MSP background and/or possessing technical experience in IT infrastructure, network and Cloud technologies is highly preferred. Key Skills & Experience include:
- 5+ years' experience as Senior Project manager or Team Lead delivering complex IT infrastructure projects across mid-market and enterprise environments
- PRINCE2 / PMP accreditation
- Experience with PM tools such as Microsoft Project & other 3rd party products such as WorkFront is highly preferred
