Assistant Manager | Mission Beach Hotel
We're on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Mission Beach Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.
Mission Beach Resort is centrally located at Wongaling Beach, and within a five minute walk is 14km of world class beaches that meet the magnificent rainforest, creating the perfect setting for relaxation. The Resort has all the facilities and services to make your stay relaxed and memorable, including the Family Bistro and Sports Bar. You won't need to travel far for fun at Mission Beach Resort with on-site entertainment including pool, poker and other amusements.
With modern function and event facilities, we cater for special occasions, conferences and events, accommodating various function requirements. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff offer extensive information and a tour booking service for all local tours and attractions.
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
* Get to know the locals so well they think you're part of the crew
* Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
* Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
* Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
* Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift
About you:
* You've been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
* You've learned from great managers and now you're ready to step up
* You've got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
* You've got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements
