Join the team at Gold Coast Private Hospital as a Registered Nurse! We’re looking for an experienced professional to bring their skills to our Acute Medical Ward (Ward 5) on a part-time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team, ensuring exceptional patient care is being delivered.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care
- Supervise and guide nursing team members
- Educate and support patients in recovery, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care
- Lead quality improvement and safety initiatives
- Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient care
- Serve as a role model for safe practices
Qualifications
- Authority to Work in Australia
- Minimum 12 months experience as an RN in an acute setting
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care
- Self‑motivated team player
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement. Salaries range between $41.49 and $52.97 per hour + superannuation.
Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check, WWCC (where applicable) and evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment. Staff in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
