We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator / Estimator with Civil & Piping experience in the Utilities & Mining sector to join our team.
This role offers a mix of office-based planning and site-based execution.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Coordinator / Estimator will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing Piping, Civil & Fabrication projects from tender through to completion.
You'll work closely with Management Team, Supervisors, Clients, Suppliers & Subcontractors to ensure projects are estimated, planned, scheduled, delivered & closed out to SWIP & client requirements.
Your Responsibilities
Preparation of cost estimates, quotations and tender submissions
Plan, Resource, Mobilise, Execute and Close Out projects in line with scope, client requirements, and budget
Contract / Cost Management, variations, claims, and monthly financial reporting
Procurement including sourcing, RFQs, supplier engagement, and tracking
Develop and award subcontract packages
Develop & Maintain project programs, tracking & reporting progress
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on progress, issues and mitigations
Actively support a strong safety culture
What You Bring
3+ Years proven experience delivering civil / piping infrastructure projects in the Utilities or Mining sector
Positive attitude with strong Communication, Commercial, and Project Coordination capabilities
Ability to maintain positive client relationships & work collaboratively
Proactive problem-solving approach with the ability to spot and address issues early.
Civil Engineering Qualifications (desirable).
Water Corporation and MRWA specification knowledge (desirable).
Flexibility to travel on roster basis (ie. 5/2, 10/4 or 2/1) depending on project location.
