Job Description
* Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant regulations.
* Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
* Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
* Support budgeting and forecasting activities to aid strategic decision-making.
* Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
* Oversee compliance with tax regulations and support audits as required.
* Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
* Maintain accurate and organised financial records to support business operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Have completed and or working towards CA/CPA
* Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency in PowerBI
* A thorough understanding of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Experience in the FMCG industry is highly regarded.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
