About the Role
This role serves as the
primary strategic business leader
of the hotel, responsible for all aspects of operations, including oversight of outsourced
Housekeeping
and
Food & Beverage
services. The Hotel Manager will champion the Langham brand, elevate guest satisfaction, drive colleague engagement, and deliver exceptional financial performance for both ownership and LHG.
Duties & Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Embody and uphold the culture, service philosophy, and operational standards of The Langham Hotels & Resorts to ensure consistency with brand vision and strategy.
* Select, develop, and retain a high-performing, diverse operations team capable of delivering exceptional luxury service and operational excellence.
* Consistently exceed guest expectations by championing quality assurance, evaluating customer feedback, analysing guest preferences, and overseeing mystery shopper and service audits.
* Foster strong guest relationships through personal presence in the hotel and active involvement in sales activities, promotions, and event concepts to strengthen the hotel's competitive position.
* Collaborate closely with our outsourced Food & Beverage provider to ensure alignment with The Langham's service ethos and operational goals.
* Lead financial planning and execution to meet or exceed annual budget targets, ensuring profitability and optimal return on investment for the owner and LHG.
Skills & Experience
To be successful, you will bring:
* A minimum of
8 years' experience
in luxury hotels or an equivalent high-end environment.
* Proven leadership capability with a track record of guiding operations teams to achieve excellence and uphold brand standards.
* Strong operational oversight skills, ensuring consistent delivery of world-class service.
* Experience elevating a hotel's profile in both local and international markets, with an understanding of luxury hospitality trends.
