About Us
Good Sammy's purpose is to create meaningful employment opportunities and pathways for people with disabilities. We employ hundreds of West Australians with disabilities and you are also supporting them by volunteering in our retail stores.
The Role
As a Retail Assistant, you will be working in a team to deliver excellent customer service and help run our Op-shops. Some tasks may include:
* Sort donations and organise clothes.
* General store clean up.
* Merchandising.
* Work alongside our team to help people with disabilities.
* Deliver excellent customer service.
Volunteering in the retail stores is a great way to gain work experience, build your retail skills and join a lovely community of volunteers. This is also a great way for you to share your skills and help you keep active! Each team is very welcoming, so if you're looking to give back to the community, make some new friends, or an excuse to get out of the house – this role is perfect for you!

What Will Be Provided To You
* Obtain the NDIS Worker Screening Check and complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module training – which can be paid for by us!
* Be part of an organisation-wide group induction and get a tour of our warehouse.
* A Centrelink approved organisation; Centrelink volunteers are encouraged to apply.
* Work placement students are encouraged to apply.

Category: Community Services – Commitment: Regular – less than 6 months – Type of Work: Disability Support, Retail & Sales – Time Required: There are no minimum hours; you can do any length shift. Preferred days are Monday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday to complete varied tasks.
