$39.20 per hour casual rate Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm Immediate start Casual role We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Inventory controller to support the day to day operations of a global transport company. The ideal candidate will have a "can-do" attitude and prove experience in a similar role within the Transport and Logistics industry. Accountabilities: Racking inventory: Monitoring incoming and outgoing goods, both physically and through records. Overseeing stock storage: Ensuring proper storage conditions and organization within warehouses or distribution centres. Data recording: Accurately recording inventory data in company systems. Discrepancy resolution: Investigating and resolving any discrepancies between physical stock and system records. Logistics management: Coordinating with freight companies for shipments and deliveries. Stock taking: Participating in regular stock counts and audits. System implementation: Developing and implementing new inventory control systems and processes. Staff training: Training warehouse staff on new procedures and policies related to inventory control. Experience and Qualifications Sound experience with WMS systems in an RF environment Sound experience within the Logistics industry, preferably in a 3PL environment with focus on Inventory management functions Advanced MS Excel and MS Office.
