Due to sustained growth Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is rapidly growing its cyber security capabilities to meet the needs of an ever changing world.
We are now recruiting for a number of positions across multiple programs at both senior and junior levels:

**Responsibilities**
Working in the BDA Information & Cyber Security Capability you will have the opportunity to contribute to a number of exciting and innovative programs, working across air, land, sea and space, while bringing your information security expertise to bear on world class Defence capabilities.
Responsibilities might include:
- Interfacing with our customer on all matters relating to information security and Cyberworthiness.
- Evaluating and responding to emerging security issues. Identify cyber security risks/gaps and coordinating actions to meet objectives.
- Participating in evaluation of process effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.
- Delivering sound and timely information security design advice. Recommending technological or procedural solutions to meet security control intent in support of engineering projects.
- Analysing and documenting information security events. Identifying root causes, prioritising threats and recommending and/or implementing corrective actions. Testing and deploying risk mitigation processes and tools.
- Close collaboration with the BDA Capabilities in particular the Mission Systems and Ground Segment Capability.
- Contributing to and supporting information security operations, incident response and mitigation activities.
**Experience/Qualifications**
To be successful you will have expertise in some of the below:
- Knowledge of (or ability to learn about) Australian Defence Security Policy Framework and associated standards such as Australian Cyber Security Centre Information Security Manual.
- Understanding of developing and implementing information security practices in an engineering environment.
- Expertise with Defence or Australian Intelligence Community (AIC) Information Security System design and architectures.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to clearly articulate complex security concepts to a broad and diverse audience.
- Sound information security knowledge across some/all of the following environments is desirable:
- Network Security.
- Host based security.
- Defence Accreditation and Certification process.
- Threat risk analysis.
- Container security.
- Pentesting.
