Our client, a global leader in fluid purification, has an immediate need for an experienced Plant Maintenance Mechanic, to join their winning team in Camden.
Our candidate of choice will bring a minimum of three years as a plant maintenance mechanic.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and replace production equipment, such as tanks, pumps, agitators, gearboxes, valves, conveyors, blowers and fans while observing plant safety requirements and lock-out/tag-out procedures
* Report issues that are beyond their ability to fix or repair to supervision
* Document preventive maintenance tasks, repair activity, and spare parts usage within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
* Perform pipefitting, welding, fabrication, equipment installation, and alignments
* Set example for safe operation of machinery and equipment
* Provide feedback to management
* Support engineers, production operators, and contractors
* Ability to work overtime and weekends as required to support operations or when emergencies arise
KEY REQUIREMENTS
* HS Diploma or GED
* 3+ years' experience in industrial maintenance- chemical preferred.
