Weare currently seeking an experienced and proactive HSEQSuperintendent to join our team and drive theimplementation and continuous improvement of our health, safety,environmental, and quality systems across corporate and operationalsites.
Role Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive HSEQSuperintendent to join our team on a full-time basis, based ineither Brisbane or Mackay with frequent site travel. In this role,you will provide leadership and support to our corporate andoperational sites across our East Coast Operations. This role playsa pivotal part in driving the implementation and continuousimprovement of our health, safety, environmental and qualitysystems through implementation, monitoring and improvement whileengaging with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to the HSEQ Manager, Corporate andOperational Leaders, and site-based personnel in application ofthe requirements of the business HSEQ Management system.
* Providing technical advice to Corporate and Operationalteams based on statutory health, safety, environment andquality requirements and industry expectations.
* Collaborate with leadership teams to ensure HSEQ isintegrated into business operations and planning.
* Mentor and coach corporate and operational leaders toincrease HSEQ leadership capabilities and understanding ofresponsibilities and obligations as leaders within thebusiness.
* Lead and develop a small team of dedicated and motivatedsite based HSEQ professionals.
* Assist to maintain the HSEQ Management System to meetingISO45001 and ISO 9001 accreditations.
* Review and support the incident investigation processincluding facilitation of detailed investigations forSignificant Potential Incidents.
* Lead governance and compliance activities acrossoperational projects by conducting regular audits across allphases on project life.
* Analyse HSEQ performance data, identify trends, and developstrategic initiatives to drive performance improvements,including monthly reporting.
* Support project leaders and injured workers through use ofestablished injury management practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety or arelated field.
* Minimum 5-7 years of experience in HSEQ roles, with atleast 3 years in a corporate or leadership capacity.
* Formal lead investigator training (ICAM preferred)
* Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator experienceand/or qualifications
* Relevant Industry Inductions:
* S1, S2, S3 and G1
* Standard 11 Generic Induction
* RIIRIS402: Carry out the Risk ManagementProcess
* HLPPAT005: Collect Specimens of Drugs of Abuse Testing(desirable)
* Intermediate computer skills and experience with MS Officesuite.
