Light Vehicle Technician Opportunity
A skilled and qualified technician is sought to join our experienced team. This individual will work in a well-equipped workshop with a variety of light vehicles.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnostics, Service, and Repairs: Conduct diagnostics, service, and repairs on various types of light vehicles.
* Work Progress Logging: Log and record daily activities.
* Mentoring: Mentor Mechanics and Apprentices.
* Breakdown Vehicle Repairing: Repair breakdown vehicles towed into the centre.
* Product Knowledge: Maintain a sound knowledge of all products and services.
* Ongoing Training: Participate in ongoing training on innovative technology, including EVs.
We are looking for an individual with the following skills and qualifications:
* Post Apprenticeship Qualification: Post apprenticeship automotive technician qualification (Trade Certificate).
* Mechanical Experience: Experience in mechanical servicing, repairs, and fault diagnostic skills.
* Driving License: C Class Manual Driving License.
* Motor Vehicle Licence: Motor Vehicle Repair Licence (desirable).
* Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills and ability to develop positive workplace relationships.
Our team is well respected, skilled, and experienced, comprising a Team Leader (workshop Foreman), 5 technicians (including a Master Technician), 4 apprentices, and a courtesy driver/detailer in the workshop plus 2 service advisors and an engaged Service Manager.
