About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Forklift Operator / Trade Assistant to join our production team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day—combining forklift operation with general workshop support.
You’ll play a key role in keeping our production area running smoothly, safely, and efficiently while supporting the team in delivering high-quality pump systems.
Duties will include, but not limited to;
* Operating forklifts to move, load, and store materials and completed pump sets
* Assisting the production team with assembly support tasks (including applying product stickers and finishing touches)
* Supporting inventory processes such as stock counting and restocking
* Maintaining clean, organised, and safe work areas
* Assisting with general workshop duties and team tasks as required
* Identifying opportunities to improve processes and workflow
* Working closely with your team to meet production deadlines
Criteria
You will have the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team. You will be enthusiastic, results driven can-do person ideally having experience within the mechanical industry space. You will also possess.
* Current Forklift Licence (essential)
* Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or workshop environment
* Strong focus on safety and quality
* Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
* Reliable, punctual, and willing to get stuck in
* Basic mechanical aptitude (highly regarded but not essential)What we can Offer
