Job Description
The District Tuberculosis Coordinator is responsible for delivering high-quality, specialist nursing care at an advanced practice level for TB patients in Southern NSW.
The role requires a person-centered approach to provide patient assessment, care planning, and referral services.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality patient assessment, care planning, and referral services
* Coordinate TB clinics in partnership with tertiary providers and General Practitioners
* Ensure flexible and quality TB management and treatment services
Required Skills and Qualifications
Essential Requirements
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Post-registration qualifications in infection control or related field
* At least three years' clinical experience and NSW TB Service accreditation to administer TST and BCG vaccinations
Desirable Attributes
* Registered Nurses with a minimum of 3 years' experience or Clinical Nurse Specialists Grade 1 who would like to progress to Grade 2
* Ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate to deliver quality nursing care
