About the Opportunity Looking for a hands-on role in a collaborative environment? We’re seeking a Metal Finisher-Grinder / 2nd Class Welder to join our production team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys precision work, problem-solving, and working in a team-oriented setting. Key responsibilities: Precision grinding of Copper, Aluminium, and Steel to exact specifications. MIG welding of Mild Steel and Aluminium (up to 2mm), with occasional Stainless Steel welding as required. Brazing of Copper materials (advantageous but not essential). Operating John Heine Power Presses (experience advantageous). Assisting with general production tasks as needed. Measuring and preparing materials with accuracy and attention to detail. What We’re Looking For We welcome applicants with a variety of backgrounds and experiences. The ideal candidate will have: Experience in metal grinding, particularly Copper, Aluminium, and Steel. Proficiency in MIG welding Mild Steel and Aluminium (2mm thickness). A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work. Brazing and press machinery experience (advantageous but not required).
