About The Role
As our Senior IT Business Analyst (Technical), you will be the conduit between our information technology capacity and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks for Digital and ICT projects and programs of work. You will work closely with business streams and users to investigate, analyse and document technical systems and business requirements, and propose innovative solutions that align with our company's strategic goals.
This role is a Permanent Full-time position (37.5 hours per week).
About You
To be successful in this role you will bring:
* Significant commercial experience (5+ years preferred) in a technology environment
* Tertiary qualification in a related ICT field
* Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of business processes and IT infrastructure.
* Proficiency in using data modelling techniques and tools to map out data structures, relationships, flows, and source-to-target field mapping.
* Knowledge of integration methodologies and technologies, used to understand how disparate systems can be interconnected to achieve seamless data exchange and process automation.
* The ability to develop quality solutions and to build and undertake quality unit and system testing. Development experience in two or more of the following technologies:
o Integration Platforms: Workato, Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory
o Microsoft Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Copilot Studio
o Database Tools: SQL Server, Azure Data Studio
* Experience gathering business systems requirements across multiple teams
* Familiarity with no code / low code development
* Proven experience writing SQL queries
The following experience and skills are desirable, but not essential:
* Previous Microsoft Dynamics implementation experience with a strong preference for CRM and / or Fundraising and Engagement
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
* Finance and HRMS solution experience
* Familiarity with requirements management tools and their use in efficiently documenting, tracking, and managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
* Demonstrated interest in developing expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) and supporting initiatives that use AI to automate, optimise, and improve organisational processes.
