This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent and Fixed Term appointments atvarious hours per fortnight with the possibility of extension(s)and/or permanency.
PositionProfile: The Medical Imaging Technologist participates inthe delivery of high-quality medical imaging services at BroomeRegional Health Campus. This role supports patient diagnosis andtreatment by performing imaging procedures in accordance withclinical protocols ensuring patient safety. This position requiresflexibility to provide services during normal hours and afterhours, covering all health units within the healthcampus.

Broome Regional HealthCampus is the Regional Hospital for the Kimberley, comprising of anEmergency Department which includes 7 centrally monitored bays, 3consulting rooms and 1 quick care room, Outpatient Departmentprovides 7 consulting rooms for salaried and visiting MedicalSpecialists, Operating Theatre with a 6 bed Same Day Surgical Unit,24 acute bed Medical Surgical Ward, 8 bed Paediatric unit,including 3 cots in Level 2 Nursery, 8 bed Maternity unit, offeringa Midwifery Group Practice service. Medical Support includesPharmacy, Medical Imaging to provide Xray's, CT Scans andSonography, with Allied Health services providing Physiotherapy,Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy.
Broome Regional HealthCampus is supported by other directorates such as Kimberley MentalHealth Drug Service, Kimberley Population Health Unit and KimberleyAged Care Services.
