About the Role
This hybrid role combines customer interactions, office operations, and warehouse consumable inventory management. It supports both office operations and the flow of materials required for installation projects. The role suits a quick‐thinking, adaptable operator proficient in building inventory tracking processes and coordinating logistics.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Service and Office Support: Serve as a point of contact for all customers, managing calls, emails, and walk‐ins with professionalism and efficiency; direct enquiries to appropriate team members; assist with scheduling jobs, document preparation, and calendar management; maintain accurate records of all interactions and operational tasks.
* Operations and Coordination: Coordinate with various teams for communication and operations alignment; handle and distribute enquiries; support appointment booking, installation scheduling, and follow‐ups; prepare and distribute customer handover packages; support the Branch Manager with reports and documentation.
* Warehouse and Inventory: Load and unload deliveries using a forklift (licence required or willingness to obtain); support warehouse operations, goods receipting, stock control, inventory management, and organization of consumables for installation teams.
About You
* Experience in administration, customer service, or office coordination.
* Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* High proficiency in office software and CRM systems.
* Ability to convey information to diverse audiences professionally.
* Meticulous management of enquiries, documentation, and scheduling.
* Experience in inventory control and stock ordering; able to build stock control (kanban) systems.
* A strong desire to foster continuous improvement in processes and operations.
* Committed to delivering exceptional service and building positive relationships.
* A positive and solutions‐focused attitude.
Highly Desirable
* Experience working in construction, electrical or trade environments.
* Experience with stock or inventory systems.
* Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).
