About the role

This position is a permanent full-time role in the Water and Sewer team, based at the Tomakin Sewage Treatment Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining sewage treatment facilities ensuring the protection of public and environmental health.

The starting salary for this position is $2,762.05 per fortnight plus 12% superannuation.

About you

Coupled with a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations and a Wastewater Treatment Operations certificate, you have solid practical experience in sewage or water treatment plant operations. You know what is required to ensure the protection of public and environmental health and are committed to achieving this for the community. You take pride in keeping critical treatment assets running safely and efficiently and are confident supervising small teams, leading by example to create a positive, productive, and safety-focused work environment.
