Job Title: Residential Operations Director


At our St Anne's Residential Aged Care Home in Broken Hill, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Residential Operations Director to lead our team.




About the Role:



* Develop and implement business strategies for site operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

* Lead a team of staff in delivering high-quality resident care, managing resources efficiently to achieve optimal outcomes.

* Manage financial performance, maintaining occupancy rates and ensuring cost-effective practices.

* Oversight of asset and site management, including maintenance requirements and legislative compliance.

* Implement policies and procedures, addressing non-compliances through action plans and continuous improvement initiatives.

* Engage in people and performance management, promoting individual and team goal achievement through regular communication and feedback.





Key Responsibilities:



* Site Strategy:


o Contribute to the development, monitoring, and implementation of the business plan for the site.


* Resident Care:


o Evaluate residents' care needs holistically, developing and implementing plans in consultation with residents and their representatives.


* Asset and Site Management:


o Oversee ongoing reactive and preventative maintenance requirements for the site.


* Financial Management:


o Maintain cost-effective performance and monitor occupancy rates.


* Legislative Compliance and Continuous Improvement:


o Ensure clinical policies/guidelines are in place within the facility and address all non-compliances by assisting to formulate and implement an action plan.


* People and Performance Management:


o Regularly communicate individual and team goals through staff appraisals and other formal or informal meetings and discussions.






Requirements:



* A strong background in aged care, healthcare, or a related field.

* Proven experience in leading teams and managing operations, preferably in a residential aged care setting.

* Excellent financial management skills, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and occupancy rates.

* Ability to develop and implement business strategies, aligned with organizational goals.

* A high level of emotional intelligence, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
