Summerstar Tourist Parks is seeking an enthusiastic, hands-on Assistant Management Couple looking for a long-term role at the iconic Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park, located midway between Broome and Port Hedland in Western Australia.
This is a rare and rewarding opportunity to live and work in a stunning remote setting, surrounded by natural beauty, while being part of a supportive and experienced management team.

What You'll Be Doing
As Assistant Park Managers, you'll work closely with the Park Management Team, sharing responsibilities across park operations, maintenance, guest services, and administration. Typically, one of you will assist in the office and reception, while the other supports grounds and maintenance.
Park Operations & Guest Experience
* Supporting the day-to-day running of the park, including after-hours response as required
* Ensuring a warm, safe, and welcoming experience for all guests
* Assisting with guest enquiries, feedback, and problem resolution
* Maintaining a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help where needed
Grounds & Maintenance
* Assisting with general maintenance, gardening, mowing, painting, and cleaning
* Operating basic park machinery and tools (training provided where required)
* Supporting environmental, security, and emergency procedures
Reception, Admin & Housekeeping
* Assisting with reservations, check-ins/outs, and guest enquiries
* Handling phone, email, and walk-in bookings
* Processing payments and maintaining accurate records (RMS experience a plus)
* Supporting housekeeping, laundry, and amenities cleaning as needed
* Helping manage the park shop and kitchen during busy periods

What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Qualities
* Friendly, customer-focused, and great with people
* Practical and hands-on, with a good level of physical fitness
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to learn and take direction
* Reliable and adaptable with a positive attitude
* Comfortable using computers and booking systems (RMS preferred)
* Previous experience in caravan parks, roadhouses, or hospitality is highly regarded
* Approved Manager's Ticket is an advantage, but not essential

* Furnished on-site accommodation, with power and water for a nominal weekly charge ($12.50 per person)
* Weekly food and beverage credit ($150 per person, per week)

Additional Requirements
* National Police Clearance, current Driver's Licence, and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to starting)
* As the park adjoins a Marine Park, no dogs are permitted (sorry)
