Job Title: Marketing Cadet
About the Role
The council seeks a talented and motivated marketing cadet to join their team. This 12-month role will provide exposure to the multifaceted marketing requirements in local government, supporting content creation and management of internal and community branded messaging.
This is an exciting opportunity for under graduates to develop professional skills, undertake tailored learning and development activities, and receive mentoring from senior staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support to the marketing function within the City Futures team.
* Assist with content creation and management of internal and community branded messaging.
* Develop knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud, as well as social media scheduling software.
* Communicate effectively and sensitively with staff and the community.
* Work collaboratively in a united environment, consistently displaying integrity, accountability, respect, and honesty.
* Evaluate problem-solving opportunities with lateral and creative thinking skills.
* Prioritize work tasks and meet deadlines.
* Embrace diversity of thought and promote equity in the workplace.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, applicants must:
* Be enrolled in a relevant university undergraduate degree at the time of commencement.
* Have demonstrated knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
* Have experience with social media scheduling software.
* Have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality when necessary.
