About the opportunity

The Planning and Development Officer is part of the Weeks Homes Planning and Development Team and reports to the Planning and Development Team Leader. The key focus of this role is to support the wider compliance team with administrative tasks and workflow.

* Manage the compliance inbox, actioning tasks and responding to enquiries
* Prepare and lodge planning and building applications to councils and private certifiers
* Conduct preliminary checks on new sales jobs to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant requirements and processes
* Develop positive relationships with councils, certifiers and other key stakeholders involved in the statutory approvals process
* Assist with reporting and workflow tracking

About you

* Have previous experience in an administrative support role
* Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Can work as part of a team or autonomously in a fast‐paced environment
* Maintain a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and time management
* Have exposure to the building industry or a genuine interest and willingness to learn and develop in this field
