Business Service provides corporate management of financial, asset and information resources and service delivery of expiation notice processing, exhibit property management, vehicle impounding and information release. Core functions of Business Service include:
* Financial management services.
* Processing expiation notices issued by SAPOL members and outside agencies.
* Creating, maintaining, storing and releasing of information essential to SAPOL's mission of reducing crime and serving the community.
* Management of SAPOL's physical assets including fleet, property and facilities.
* Procurement and contract management services.
Business Service operates to provide an effective, professional service for all internal and external customers.
Financial Management Services Branch provides financial services to external and internal clients and co-ordinates financial management within SAPOL including:
* Financial Controls
* Corporate Budget and Resource Planning
* Business partnering with key stakeholders across SAPOL
* Strategic Financial Management Reporting
* Accounting Systems and Projects
* Accounting Policy and Financial Improvements
The Manager, Financial Control is responsible to the Director, Finance and Procurement for various financial accounting and financial compliance services including those provided by Shared Services SA for accounting services, taxation and transaction processing.
The Manager, Financial Control leads the Financial Control Team and is responsible for delivery of customer focused services and the processes surrounding those services or functions.
The Manager, Financial Control will maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across SAPOL and across SA Government including Shared Services SA and the Auditor General's Office.

* The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
* The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
* Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
* The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.
Requirements
* An appropriate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics majoring in Accounting.
Salary
ASO7 - $108,109 - $116,864 per annum.
