Job Description
AECOM seeks a highly skilled Dam Embankment Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to feasibility studies, design, construction, and asset management of dam infrastructure projects.
* Lead geotechnical and embankment dam engineering efforts.
* Perform inspection and condition assessment of existing dams.
* Conduct scoping and undertake geotechnical investigations, including interpretation of foundation conditions and characterizing the engineering properties of foundation and construction materials.
* Provide construction support services, including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data, and construction reporting.
* Prepare tenders and proposals, and provide mentoring to junior engineers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Demonstrated capability in geotechnical and embankment design, including preparation of design reports, design drawings, and specifications.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and industry partners.
* A degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
