Maritime Constructions is a Marine Contractor, uniquely capable of self-performing the full spectrum of specialised engineering disciplines to deliver complex near-shore marine infrastructure projects from design and construction through to commissioning. Projects include jetties, wharves, bulk loading facilities, dredging, reclamation, navigation aids, marinas, underwater pipelines.
About the Role
As the Project Administrator you will play a crucial role in supporting our Operations and Project team based in Dampier, WA. This is a fulltime role Monday through Friday and we require this role to work 7:00am – 5:00pm daily.
What you will be doing:
- Management of all site administrative requirements to ensure that Company policies and procedures and client requirements are adhered to.
- Coordinating project management resources and information.
- Ensuring compliance with competencies and inductions for the clients and the sites.
- Monitor compliance requirements (tickets, competencies, medicals).
- Assist in project coordination and administration. Arranging flights and accommodation.
- Actioning all procurements requests for the projects team. Raising purchase orders as required.
- Coordinate project deliveries including logistics and goods receipting on site.
- Manage meetings, and general correspondence.
- Provide administrative support to management and other departments as needed, including preparing reports, presentations, and other documents. Maintain project files and documentation.
- Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of HSEQ Systems.
- Collating and filing of HSE paperwork produced on site
- Support team members with administrative tasks.
- General office and project admin tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in administrative or project support roles.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Sharp eye for detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in marine construction or infrastructure projects (desirable).
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and work independently.
- Confident communicator and team player.
- Comfortable with technology, systems, and learning new tools.
- A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative.
