About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Werribee Mercy Hospital. As part of this exciting opportunity, you will have the chance to undertake a Postgraduate Certificate in Critical Care in collaboration with Deakin University.
This comprehensive program combines ongoing clinical support at the bedside with specialised education, providing you with the ideal environment to develop your skills and knowledge as a critical care nurse.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.
* Pursue a Postgraduate Certificate in Critical Care, gaining a nationally recognised qualification in affiliation with Deakin University.
* Develop strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, learning to think quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
* Gain invaluable hands-on experience and knowledge under the guidance of our dedicated Education Team.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A current unrestricted registration as RN Division 1 with APHRA.
* A minimum of 6 months registered nursing experience in the Emergency Department or equivalent acute setting.
* Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Critical thinking ability and demonstration of prioritising patients' care.
* Commitment to furthering knowledge and continuing professional development.
