Boongalla Group are a leading restoration and construction company based in Bayswater, servicing areas all over Victoria. We are looking to add an experienced full‐time Carpenter to join our rapidly growing business.
About You
Your key duties will include:
* General carpentry works: construct, erect, install, renovate and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, wallboard and other materials, and cut, shape and fit timber parts to form structures and fittings.
* General trade support, such as small patch & paint works, maintenance repairs, flexible skills.
* Liaise with internal office staff, project managers & external clients.
* Adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements such as OHS legislation and risk management, assessing hazardous components of each project as required.
* Timely completion of administrational duties such as site diaries and compliance requirements.
* General manual labour duties including lifting and frequent driving.
* Work away from home on occasion.
* Work a rotating on‐call roster, including afterhours shifts.

Key Selection Criteria
* Experience in commercial carpentry, with experience in multi‐trades highly desired.
* Excellent customer service skills and strong communication skills are essential.
* Attention to detail and adherence to administrational requirements.
* Willing to travel for work, able to respond to after hours / weekend work, and participate in a regular on‐call roster.
* Professionalism, with a strong work ethic and proactive nature.
* Must have a 'can do' approach and strong work ethics with a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes as our business continues to grow.
Qualifications
* Full Drivers Licence and Construction Induction Card (White Card).
* Have a current Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willing to obtain one).
* EWP and/or WAH tickets highly desirable.
