The Opportunity:
Randstad are partnering with a Prominent Civil Contractor to appoint an experienced Subdivisions Supervisor in Southeast Melbourne.
This business has picked up multiple long-term projects, bolstering out a healthy pipeline of work.
We are seeking previous experience delivering multi-stage land development projects in Melbourne end-to-end.
About the Role:
As a Civil Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing Greenfield civil construction projects from inception to completion up to $40 million in total construction value.
You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and directing construction crews, subcontractors, and other personnel.
- Managing and coordinating all on-site activities to ensure project progression according to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Maintaining construction schedules, daily diaries, and coordinating tasks to meet timelines.
- Monitoring work quality and ensuring compliance with specified standards and codes.
- Conducting inspections and addressing any issues during the construction process.
- Acting as a liaison between project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Monitoring project expenses, tracking costs, and identifying potential cost-saving measures.
- Addressing unexpected challenges and problems promptly to minimise disruptions.
- Maintaining detailed records, daily reports, and progress updates.
