Position Profile:
The Child and Adolescent Health Service are seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our Medical Imaging team at Perth Children's Hospital.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive Diagnostic Ultrasound services to patients. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Performing routine and specialised ultrasound examinations and assisting the radiologist with complex scanning techniques and interventional procedures.
2. Interpreting ultrasound images and evaluating the adequacy of the ultrasound examination and the need for further investigation.
3. Providing consultancy and advice to clinical staff on ultrasound images and procedures.
To be considered for this role, you must have a tertiary qualification in a related health/science field with an ASAR accredited qualification in sonography and listed on the Australian Sonography Accreditation Registry (ASAR) as an accredited medical sonographer in the relevant field.
