Job Role Overview
The Accounts Receivable Officer is a crucial role that involves managing debtor accounts to ensure timely payment and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
* Issue invoices and statements for debtors' accounts in a timely manner.
* Create, review, and maintain debtor accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Distribute invoices, debtor statements, and reconciliations internally as required, following up with investigation and/or guidance where appropriate.
* Assist in the debt recovery collection process to facilitate timely payment.
* Provide coaching to staff on debt management best practice and the use of supporting systems.
* Respond to enquiries regarding debtor accounts and debt recovery issues.
* Investigate credit balances on debtor accounts and facilitate refunds in a timely manner.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate III in Office/Business Administration or substantial equivalent experience in Finance/accounts receivable functions of a large organisation.
* A Class C Drivers Licence.
* Proof of Australian residency or citizenship.
