Your opportunity:
- This position will function as part of a team of pharmacists providing services to patients within the Pharmacy Services of the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
- An expected outcome of this position is to provide accurate and timely advice to medical, nursing and subordinate pharmacy staff on patient admission history and pharmaceutical issues while ensuring optimum patient medication safety.
- Service delivery will be in accordance with contemporary professional, legislative and quality standards including:
- Queensland Government Health Drugs and Poisons Regulation 1996
- The Australian Council of Healthcare Standards
- Professional Standards of Practice of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA)
- QH Policies and Procedures
Permanent Full Time (76 hours p.f.) and Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from 24th December 2025 until 30th September 2026 with the possibility of extension and Temporary Part Time (32 hours p.f.) from 1st January 2026 until 31st August 2026 with the possibility of extension.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $132,567 p.a., comprising salary between $79,051 - $116,189 p.a. (f/t) or salary rates between $39.87 - $58.60 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.). (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
