English Teacher Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled English Teacher to join our team at an independent school in Katherine. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching English to students from Prep to Year 12.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English and be able to communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues. They will also have the ability to work well within a team and maintain a safe and creative learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* To teach English to students from Prep to Year 12
* To develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students
* To assess student progress and provide feedback to improve student outcomes
* To collaborate with colleagues to achieve school goals and objectives
Requirements
* A valid NT registration or the ability to obtain prior to commencement
* Full work rights in Australia
* Immediate or term 2 start
* Three professional references from your most recent employer/s
* Proven ability to teach your specialist teaching area
