JWF Landscaping is a locally owned and operated business based out of Bendigo, Victoria, specialising in residential and commercial landscaping projects - from turf and paving to retaining walls, concreting, planting, and outdoor design.
We're looking for a 3rd or 4th year apprentice, to join our friendly, hard-working team.
About the Role
You will be involved in all aspects of landscape construction and maintenance across Bendigo and Central Victoria.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work, takes pride in their craftsmanship, and thrives in a small team environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Site preparation, levelling, drainage, and soil improvement
Building retaining walls, edging, and other structural elements
Paving, concreting, decking, and turf installation (natural and artificial)
Setting out and interpreting site plans and measurements
Installing irrigation and drainage systems
Operation of small plant and machinery (excavators, skid steers, compactors)
Maintaining a clean and safe worksite
Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other team members as required
You will gain valuable hands-on experience across a variety of project types, from backyard makeovers to large-scale property landscaping.
What We're Looking For
3rd or 4th year apprentice landscaper
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to follow direction and work independently when required
Reliable, punctual, and physically capable
Licence and own transportation (required)
White Card (required)
Working With Children' Check (required)
Medium rigid truck licence (desirable, but not required)
Machinery tickets or experience with skid steer/excavator highly regarded
Great attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn
