Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and solutions to customers, driving sales growth, and meeting targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the engineering industry.
* Deliver regular call/sales activity reports to management, including details on upcoming project tenders.
* Develop and maintain databases for engineering firms and commercial contractors.
* Create awareness of new products or product changes in a timely fashion.
* Coordinate and deliver professional presentations on select equipment/products as required.
* Resolve requirements for approved equals when our products are not specified.
* Regularly communicate with engineers, consultants, designers, architects, builders, and developers to stay current with market trends.
* Provide superior customer service and create repeat business.
* Assist in new product training with engineers and contractors.
* Attend industry events and factory training seminars as required.
* Visit construction sites to troubleshoot and problem-solve situations related to supplied equipment.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth and meet sales targets.
* Foster strong relationships with key customers, providing technical support and solutions.
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
