The Opportunity
The Marketing & Communications Business Partner provides strategic marketing leadership within a designated faculty, developing and implementing faculty-specific marketing and communications plans that align with the University's overarching recruitment, brand, and engagement strategies.
With a strong product marketing focus, the role ensures that all undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment activity is strategically planned, executed, and measured to deliver on annual intake targets. As a trusted advisor to faculty leadership and academic staff, the Business Partner identifies opportunities, manages risks, and guides evidence-based decision-making to strengthen the faculty's market position.
Operating as the primary conduit between the faculty and the University's central marketing functions, the Marketing & Communications Business Partner collaborates across content, creative, paid media, and digital teams to ensure cohesive campaigns, compelling content, and an optimised digital presence. This role is central to embedding a faculty's voice into university-wide strategies while maintaining brand consistency and strategic alignment.
There are 2 x full-time (35-hour week), ongoing positions based at our Hawkesbury (Richmond) campus, with hybrid working arrangements available.

About You
You are a strategic marketing and communications leader with a passion for driving faculty-specific initiatives and building strong stakeholder relationships. You thrive in dynamic environments, translating complex challenges into innovative solutions that elevate brand reputation and engagement. Your collaborative approach and analytical mindset empower you to deliver impactful campaigns and measurable results.
You will bring:
* Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, with demonstrated experience in leading marketing and communications strategies within large, complex organizations.
* Proven ability to develop and implement faculty-specific marketing plans, aligning with broader university objectives and brand standards.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience managing relationships across diverse teams and external partners.
* High-level analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
* Experience in risk management, issues identification, and crisis communications.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing compelling content and campaign materials.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering outcomes within tight deadlines.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, and emerging communication technologies.
* Experience in higher education or similarly complex sectors.
* Professional membership or certification in marketing, communications, or related fields.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 8 $138,029 to $153,227 p.a. (comprising Salary of $116,636 to $129,479 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
