We’re on the lookout for a Part-time Senior Cook to join our team at Ingenia Gardens Marsden.
Reporting to the Community Manager, you’ll create delicious, homestyle meals that bring comfort and joy to our residents every day—without the stress of late nights, unpredictable rosters, or high-pressure service. In This Role, You’ll:
- Prepare high-quality meals and manage kitchen stock, ordering, and budgets to minimise waste and maximise flavour.
- Lead food safety practices, including temperature checks and compliance documentation, as the site’s Food Safety Supervisor.
- Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean, sanitised, and up to standard—from equipment to floors and restrooms.
- Build positive relationships with residents and team members, always showing care, empathy, and professionalism.
- Communicate clearly, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate closely with the Community and Operations Managers.
You’re Likely a Match If You:
- Bring relevant cooking experience and food safety knowledge, ideally with a Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
- Demonstrate respect and support for management and team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Build strong professional relationships to enhance communication, efficiency, and productivity across the team.
- Work safely and responsibly by following WHS policies, completing training, and reporting hazards or incidents.
- Bring a proactive, caring attitude to support team goals and deliver excellent service.
You’re someone who brings energy, ideas, and a genuine passion for making a difference. You love working with people, solving problems, and creating moments that matter.
