Our client, Samsung Electronics Australia, is seeking a meticulous and proactive Claims Officer to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract! In this position, you will take ownership of the entire claims process for finished goods and spare parts, working closely with third-party logistics providers and insurance companies to ensure every claim is tracked, managed and resolved efficiently. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail, proactive approach and ability to streamline processes will directly improve the supply chain and deliver real results.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Raise, record and monitor all claims from start to finish.
* Liaise with third-party logistics providers and insurance companies to ensure timely settlement.
* Review documents, resolve disputes and negotiate agreements.
* Ensure all claims are handled according to company policies and legal standards.
* Organise and securely store all data and evidence.
* Proactively manage older claims and prevent delays.
* Identify process improvements to reduce claim resolution time.
* Prepare claims reports and support management with escalations and reporting.
About You:
* Transferable experience in logistics or claims management.
* Expertly skilled in Excel, with additional exposure to enterprise resource planning systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Proactive, solution-focused and able to manage multiple priorities.
* Strong communicator, able to build effective relationships internally and externally.
