Seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor with local government exposure, working with a high performing team in a Peri Urban Shire Council.
To assist in the successful delivery of Council's Civil Capital Works Program, through high standard project management, program planning and delivery, monitoring and reporting, contract management and procurement.
**You will be responsible for;**
- Support the design and delivery of road, traffic and stormwater projects with the Capital Works and Development Infrastructure Teams.
- Undertake detailed assessments of engineering plans in a timely manner to uphold the high quality assets being constructed
- Review and provide advice on Traffic Impact Statements or Stormwater Management Strategies
- Provide expertise and contemporary advice on technical engineering standards across the broad ranges of water, traffic, road safety and transport related disciplines
- Contract and Project Management duties as required to assist with design projects
- To provide consistently high standards of customer services whilst delivering projects to a high standard in a timely manner
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline with some relevant experience OR lesser formal qualifications with substantive experience
- Specialist technical knowledge related to the construction of roads, drainage systems, footpaths, bridges, roadside furniture, and vegetation management.
- Ability to prepare sound written technical reports, as well a draft Council reports.
- Sound knowledge of Engineering drawings, specifications, and construction contracts.
- Current Victorian Driver's license.
