Maas Repairs is seeking a trade-qualified and experiencedHeavy Vehicle Mechanic (Road Transport) to join our dedicated maintenance team.
Based in our Dubbo workshop, this full-time role is critical to the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of our fleetâwhich includes trucks, floats, trailers, light vehicles, and earthmoving equipment.As our Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you'll deliver high-quality servicing, diagnostics, and repairs across a diverse fleet that supports major infrastructure and civil construction projects across New South Wales.
From planned maintenance to urgent breakdowns, your skills will help minimise downtime and ensure we stay on track and on schedule.What You'll DoMaintain and repair trucks, floats, light vehicles, and construction equipment.Collaborate with supervisors and suppliers to maintain fleet efficiency and availability.Support roadworthy inspections and complete service documentation accuratelyUndertake both workshop-based and site servicing (field service)Promote WHS compliance and contribute to safety-focused pre-start/toolbox meetings.Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.What We're Looking For:At least 2 years' post-trade experience as a Heavy Vehicle MechanicBackground in civil, mining, transport, or agricultural environments is highly regardedCertificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalentCurrent Driver's Licence - (HR or HC desirable)White CardThe Right Fit:Strong fault-finding and repair capability across drivetrains, hydraulics, and suspensionHigh attention to detail and ownership over quality and safetyEffective communicator and collaborative team memberPhysically fit and willing to work flexible hours, including field servicingAbout UsMaas Repairs is the fleet maintenance division of MAAS Group Holdings (ASX: MGH) â a fast-growing, diversified industrial group operating across civil construction, mining services, transport, and manufacturing.
