THE PERSON
You're a passionate Junior Chef who takes pride in your work and thrives on creating beautiful food. You're flexible, reliable, and eager to grow your skills. Ideally, you have experience in high-volume production or a corporate kitchen, and you're comfortable working across different stations.

THE POSITION
We're on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Chef to join our corporate catering team. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, offering a stable schedule and a dynamic work environment. You'll play a key role in daily food preparation, kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard, following set menus and recipes
* Assisting with bulk production and catering for large groups
* Rotating through various kitchen tasks including prep, cooking, plating, cleaning and wash up
* Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met
* Supporting the broader team and contributing to a positive team culture

MINIMUM criteria to apply
* 2+ years' kitchen experience
* A deep passion for the culinary arts
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
* Intermediate level of verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated previous experience with proactive problem solving
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
* Experience in communication with various skilled and unskilled employees
* WH&S awareness
