Responsibilities
* Investigate complaints and breaches related to State legislation and Local Government laws.
* Prepare documentation for Court hearings within the scope of the position.
* Evaluate and report on position outcomes.
* Respond to customer inquiries with high-level customer service.
* Acknowledge and adhere to Murray River Council's Policies and Procedures as well as legislative requirements.
Requirements
* Developed customer service and conflict resolution skills.
* National Police Check.
* Working with Children's Check NSW.
* Certificate IV in Local Government Regulatory Services or extensive experience in Local Government.
* Authorised Officer experience under the Protection of the Environment Operations Act.
* Experience in CM9/Trim or similar record-keeping software.
* Understanding of Local Government process.
