About the Role
Join an exciting Band 6 Audiologist opportunity within the Audiology team in Croydon. Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment:
Evaluate patients referred by GPs or other professionals, ensuring they meet the necessary criteria for audiological assessments.
Hearing Tests & Diagnosis:
Conduct thorough hearing tests to determine the level and range of hearing abilities, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
Select appropriate hearing aids (analogue or digital) tailored to each patient's individual needs.
Perform Real Ear Measurements to ensure optimal settings for hearing aids.
Aural Impressions:
Take aural impressions and choose suitable earmoulds for manufacturing.
Patient Care & Monitoring:
Monitor and review patients' progress, adjusting hearing aid fittings as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.
Identify and repair any issues with faulty hearing aids, maintaining high standards of patient care.

Requirements
HCPC Registered: To be eligible for this role, you must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in the audiology field is required.
Driver (Preferred but not essential): The role requires working across multiple sites, so having a driver's license is preferred, though not essential.
