A fantastic opportunity has become available for a proactive and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to work as part of our Finance team. Looking for an immediate start to support our busy team located in the Process Solutions base in Balcatta.
Role Specific Responsibilities
* Assist with end-to-end accounts payable, including invoice entry processing, payments, and remittances
* Assist with accounts receivable, including raising invoices to customer, aged receivables analysis and collection activities
* Assist to resolve customer and supplier, and internal queries
* Assisting with banking and reconciliation
* Any other tasks deemed necessary by management to perform your role

IT Responsibilities
* Ensure information is properly classified, labelled, handled, stored and disposed of.
Qualification and Education Requirements
* Knowledge of accounts payable process and a minimum of 2 years accounting experience
* Basic MS skills, with experience in using excel in a finance role desired
* Possess accounting skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Positive "can do" attitude
Skill Requirements
* Ability to work within a small team and use initiative to adapt to a changing environment
* Possess strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines
* Be a self-motivated team player, with the ability to work autonomously
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
