**The Company**
A privately owned waste and quarry business with a national footprint and more than half a century of successful operation.
**The Role**
This is a site based and very varied role. The Human Resources Advisor reports directly to the Operations manager and the core duties include;
- Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of HR initiatives and systems
- Provide advice on policies and procedures
- Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans
- Develop training and development programs
- Assist in performance management processes
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Maintain employee records (attendance, skills matrix, etc) according to policy and legal requirements
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance and best practice
**The Requirements**
- A qualified human resources professional (ideally with a relevant tertiary qualification
- Experienced in site based operations (construction, civil contracting, mining etc)
- Currently living in Victoria and within commutable distance of Tullamarine
- A car owner with a current valid driving licence
