We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager – Power Services to manage the delivery of operations and maintenance services across a portfolio of energy assets including landfill and natural gas power stations, solar farms and large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS).
Reporting to the General Manager – Power Services, this role is responsible for managing a team of supervisors, electricians, mechanical technicians and subcontractors to ensure safe, reliable and commercially effective service delivery across multiple sites and clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day O&M across client's power generation, solar and BESS assets
* Coordinate electricians, mechanical technicians and subcontractors across multiple sites
* Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contract requirements
* Oversee maintenance programs, shutdowns and corrective works
* Manage job budgets, Labour utilisation and service performance
* Liaise with clients and identify additional work opportunities
* Plan resources, travel and materials to support national service delivery
Skills & Experience
* Electrical trade qualification or electrical engineering degree preferred
* Experience managing O&M for power generation, gas, solar or BESS assets
* Background supervising electrical and mechanical service teams
* Strong understanding of WHS and operational compliance
* Strong understanding of data management systems and IT
* Commercial awareness including budgeting and job costing
* Willingness to travel regularly to sites across Australia
