Our client is a leading demolition contractor delivering demolition, remediation, excavation, and site preparation projects across South East Queensland for Tier 1 & 2 Builders. This is a mixed workshop-based and field service role supporting a fleet of heavy vehicles, plant, and demolition equipment. Offering a great balance between workshop and onsite work, strong internal support from an organised scheduling team and minimal after-hours call-outs. With 2 workshops close to Beenleigh and live sites across SEQ, you will be provided a company UTE & Fuel Card for all travel. The Role: Service, repair, and maintain heavy vehicles, plant, and machinery Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults Carry out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs Complete workshop-based repairs and servicing Maintain service records and documentation About You: Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or similar OR experience from an industrial HVAC or related mechanical background with transferable hydraulic and diagnostic skills Experience working on hydraulic systems highly regarded Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability Experience working on heavy vehicles, machinery, plant, or mobile equipment Light vehicle mechanical experience advantageous but not essential Ability to work independently both onsite and in the workshop What’s on Offer Diverse role split between field service and workshop Very limited call-outs/on-call requirements Strong internal scheduling and operational support Permanent, long-term opportunity If you would like further information call Natalie on 0412 816 176 or email brisbane@svrconstructionrecruitment.com.au
